MEET THE TEAM SUPPORTING LAX MANIAX

Director & Coach
Kevin brings over 13 years of coaching experience in girls’ lacrosse, including varsity and high-level club programs. A former high school and collegiate player, Kevin began coaching when his daughters started playing, gaining invaluable experience with the Yorktown Athletic Club and later as Head Coach at Kennedy Catholic Preparatory School and Assistant Coach/Offensive Coordinator at The Ursuline School, guiding teams to multiple championships and semifinals and helping several players advance to Division I lacrosse. He also served as recruiting coordinator and offensive coach for The House of Sports Lacrosse Club, drawing on his family’s extensive club experience to develop players and impactful programs.

Carolyn Keber
A native of Bethesda, Maryland and a Dartmouth alumna, Coach Carolyn brings over 25 years of coaching experience to Lax Maniax, with stints in Maryland, Virginia, New Hampshire, England, Wales, and Florida. She was the inaugural head coach at The Out-of-Door Academy, leading the program to multiple District Championships and strong Regional playoff runs.

Coach Carolyn also served as head coach of the True Florida HS Elite team and founded the Florida Flames, an all-girls K–8 recreational program competing in the FGCLL. She currently serves as the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Head Coach at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School, beginning her first spring season in 2026, and is recognized for her ability to develop players, build strong team cultures, and grow the game locally.

Coach/Consultant
Coach Heather brings extensive experience in girls’ lacrosse at the collegiate, high school, and club levels. She is currently the Head Coach for New College of Florida’s NAIA Women’s Lacrosse team and previously served as Head Coach at Sarasota High School, leading teams to multiple playoff appearances.
Coach Heather has also held leadership roles with Gulf Coast Lacrosse and True FL Girls Lacrosse, guiding athletes to tournament and playoff success. Her specialties include program development, coaching strategy, and player leadership, and she draws on her own playing experience — including captaincy at Clemson University and MVP honors at the 2022 World Festival — to develop athletes’ fundamentals, game IQ, and competitive edge.

BROOKE Eisenacher
CoachBrooke brings a powerful blend of elite playing experience, deep coaching knowledge, and educator insight to the lacrosse field. A former Division I captain and leading scorer at Ohio University, she understands firsthand what it takes to compete, lead, and succeed at the highest level.

With more than 20 years of coaching experience and a Master’s degree in Education, Coach Brooke is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the field. As a mom of three competitive athletes, she values the balance between high standards and meaningful support. She is committed to building a strong, connected program alongside exceptional people—one that helps players sharpen their skills, compete as a team, build confidence, and develop values that extend well beyond the game.

Coach & Social Media/Content Specialist
SAmmy Paglino
A former attacker at Coastal Carolina and Stetson Universities, Coach Sammy specializes in developing offensive skills, lacrosse IQ, and competitive intensity. She was a member of Coastal Carolina’s first conference championship team, which also made its first NCAA tournament appearance, and draws on her experience to guide athletes at every level.
Originally from Westchester County, NY, Sammy played for Yorktown High School and the nationally ranked Prime Time Girls Lacrosse Club. She is committed to helping players reach their full potential on and off the field and also supports Lax Maniax through social media content and engagement, connecting athletes, families, and the broader lacrosse community.

SHAWN BAIRD

A St. Louis, Missouri native, Coach Maggie McDaniel brings over 15 years of playing experience to the field. She competed at both Missouri Baptist University and Missouri Western State University, where she developed as a player and teammate.

With more than a decade of coaching experience, Maggie has worked with athletes across all levels, from youth to high school. She also remains active in the game as a high school official.

Coach Maggie is committed to creating a positive, team-first environment built on energy, accountability, and hard work. She emphasizes “productive positivity,” helping athletes build confidence, develop their skills, and take ownership of their growth.

ZOIE ZANONI
A former Division II standout at Limestone University, Coach Zoie served as a team captain and emerged as a defensive leader known for her communication, toughness, and field awareness. Recruited as both a midfielder and defender, she found her strength on the defensive end, anchoring units with poise and consistency.
Since beginning her coaching career in 2021, Coach Zoie has worked with athletes across all levels on the club circuit and currently assists the varsity girls team at Saint Stephen's Episcopal School. She is committed to developing confident, disciplined players, with a focus on accountability, teamwork, and consistent effort.
Coach Zoie believes lacrosse is a powerful vehicle for growth, helping young athletes build confidence, character, and lasting friendships—just as it did for her.

Coach
SYDNEY WANNER
A four-year starter and senior captain at Germantown Academy, Coach Sydney built a standout career defined by leadership, consistency, and impact. She scored 100 career goals and earned the Senior Players Choice Award in her final season after being named Most Improved as a freshman.
A multi-sport athlete, she also excelled in field hockey, earning MVP honors as a senior. She competed on the club circuit with NXT Lacrosse, developing her game against top-level competition.
Off the field, Coach Sydney was actively involved in her school community, serving as a Morgan's Message ambassador and participating in Student Government. She brings a well-rounded perspective to coaching, with a focus on building confident, disciplined athletes who lead by example and compete with purpose.

Coach
A Long Island, NY native, Coach Emily Columbus was a four-year varsity player at Northport High School, helping lead her team to New York State Championships in 2011 and 2012. She also competed with the Long Island Yellow Jackets, where she began her coaching career.

Emily went on to play Division I lacrosse at Bryant University, earning All-NEC First Team honors while helping lead the program to multiple conference championships.
​
As a coach, Emily brings a strong understanding of the offensive game and a passion for player development. She has worked with athletes across all levels, including with True Lacrosse, and focuses on fundamentals, stick work, and developing lacrosse IQ in a positive, competitive environment.
EMILY COLUMBUS

TAYLOR VARA
A 2021 Saint Stephen’s graduate and two-time team captain, Coach Vara left a lasting mark on the Falcon lacrosse program. As a senior, she earned All-Area and US Lacrosse All-American honors while helping lead the Falcons to four district championships during her career.

Following high school, Taylor continued her playing career at East Stroudsburg University, where she was a four-year contributor, a two-time NCAA Division II Final Four participant, an All-PSAC selection, and a senior captain. She started all 21 games during both her junior and senior seasons.
​
Most importantly, Taylor returns to Lax Maniax as one of our own. Having grown up in the program, she understands the values, standards, and culture that define the Lax Maniax experience. We are excited to welcome her home and look forward to the impact she will have on the next generation of players.

Coach
A Bradenton native and Lax Maniax alumna, Coach Annesley is a Saint Stephen’s Episcopal School graduate and current goalie at Florida Southern College, the 2026 NCAA Division II National Champions. As a freshman, she appeared in 18 games and made 13 starts while helping the Mocs capture a national title.

At Saint Stephen’s, Annesley was a two-time All-Area selection, earned Lacrosse MVP and Defensive MVP honors, and finished her career with more than 400 saves. She helped lead her teams to two Final Four appearances and three Regional Finals.
​
Having played lacrosse for more than 10 years, Coach Annesley is passionate about sharing her love of the game and developing the next generation of goalies.

PAT EGAN
After relocating from Ridgefield, Connecticut, to Florida in 2001, Coach Egan has spent more than two decades growing and developing girls lacrosse throughout Venice, Sarasota, and the surrounding communities.
A longtime coach, director, and program leader, he has held leadership positions with organizations including US Lacrosse North Florida, Seahawks Lacrosse, FCA Girls Lacrosse, True Lacrosse, Venice High School, and SRQ Lacrosse. His dedication to the sport has helped expand opportunities for countless young athletes and played a significant role in the growth of girls lacrosse across the region.
Coach Egan remains committed to helping the next generation of players develop confidence, character, and a lifelong love of the game.

Rebecca Hart

Director of Operations & Community Relations
Cojo brings over 30 years of lacrosse experience as a coach, club director, and sports parent, with a strong focus on program development and community engagement. He has extensive experience coaching at the town and recreational level and currently serves as Varsity Lacrosse Coach at The Ursuline School. As the former Director of Girls Lacrosse at House of Sports, he rebuilt a floundering program into a reputable club and also developed a highly respected training academy, creating clear, focused partnerships with local town and recreational programs and leveraging the club to help them grow rather than compete. Drawing on his coaching, program leadership, and experience guiding his own children through club lacrosse, Joe uses these insights to support Lax Maniax families and ensure players have the best possible experience both on and off the field.
